In my opinion, Blakroc has been the most successful blend of the hip-hop and rock genres. The bluesy, gritty rock sounds of the Black Keys combined with the hazy and harsh sounds of Damon Dash’s collection of modern and classic hip-hop/rap connoisseurs somehow worked wonderfully on the last effort. Well, if you all are as big of fans of this project as I am, then you might want to check out the sneak peak to Blackroc 2 below…. Not sure when it drops, but with Curren$y, Talib Kweli, Wiz Khalifa, Jay Electronica, and The Cool Kids it’s promising to be another good one.
Beer Recommendation: Try with a Yazoo Sue.
