Awhile back we had the opportunity to go check out two of Nashville’s own Moon Taxi and Cherub. Beyond having the time of our lives the music spoke volumes for not only the artists but also the amount of people supporting the flourishing music scene here in Nashville. With Moon Taxi fresh from playing Bonnaroo as well as touring with Matisyahu, and Cherub ripe from dominating such festivals as Bonnaroo, Hangout, and Electric Forest (to name a few) the city more than welcomed their return. Below is our depiction of the ‘blurry’ experience shared by many remembered by less to one of Cherubs latest titled xoxo . Two epic music sets, a lot of beer, and one staggering sunrise amongst the steps of Cherub’s porch later…we have this to show for it..Cheers

If you’ve been to one of our shows in Nashville in the past few months, chances are you’ve seen both or part of Modern Bandits (under S3ismology), up-and-coming fist bumpers and dance provokers. ‘Training Wheels’ marks the first mastered track to be release by the duo although it seems like they don’t really need them. After getting an exclusive listen to their first EP, Organic Chemistry, it’s pretty easy to see where the name comes from. The concept is pretty cool in that it gives music the same attributes as illicit substances; great music has a way or really making you feel something, that something draws you back to it time and time again, and there’s a point to where your friend’s might even say, “Gibs you have a problem, you need to stop listening to the same EP over and over”, but you just can’t.
