Smooth sounds, prominent story telling, followed by some pretty creative visuals gives you a glimpse of Archer’s Paradox latest submission to the site. Definitely an emotion driven track that does well to guide the listener through past experience without forgetting song structure or concept. Comprised of Seth Huff, Cam Nawaz, Alex Solin, Stefan Wright, Mark Wilson and the juice the guys are collectively responsible for production as well as editing. With filming by friend and talented videographer Anna Hartwick the combination of music and visual are seamless. Kind of cool to see an art collaboration take place among a group of friends. Its authenticity tends to show in the final product. If you’re in Cincinnati July 13-15 make sure to check the guy’s eardrum christening out at Bunbury Music Festival. Cheers

We always get excited when we see our bud
Our good friends, The Mind Ninjas, just don’t stop putting out music that impresses us. Their latest full-length release, Burning Leaf Technique showcases their talents at bringing back the classic soul and lyricism that we’ve come to miss in classic hip-hop, but also show some real progression that makes it relevant still. After hearing

Bohemian Hype Cult’s Trillbee the Hooligan recently fucked with some live footage from a Ziggurat show with some fucked up results. ‘Cubism’ may be one of my favorite Ziggurat tracks and the editing really does it justice. I’m not going to say much more about it because in it’s simplicity it’s one of the better music videos I’ve seen lately. Watch and enjoy below.
So I’ve got a few tracks on back-log and since they’re friends and collaborators I thought it would be appropriate to throw them up together. It’s not because I’m lazy if that’s what you were thinking.
Remember the envy that you all had when you would see a friend with a holographic Charizard Pokemon card? Well I am making the bold prediction that it’ll be a similar envy of every MC who isn’t on a Good Shepard beat in the upcoming years. Bringing back the soul that we’ve almost forgotten after losing J Dilla and seeing the rise of trap and glitch electro in hip-hop beats that adequately suited the passion and lyricism of so many quality guys out there. Having said that, the tracks on this tape are amazing as stand alone tracks and the mere fact that Shep (The Good Shepard) put this tape together a little more than a week after I suggested it says great things about his ability (and back log). If you haven’t tried out your own stuff over one of his sounds check out “

In anticipation for
